The TXU Energy Light Up the Red Carpet Student Video Contest is back in an even bigger way! The Dallas Film Society and TXU Energy once again challenge Texas film students to explore the future of energy conservation and energy efficiency through video.

ENTRY PERIOD: February 20, 2012, through March 23, 2012
TXU Energy will be awarding technology grants at both the high school and university levels:
1st Place $7,500
2nd Place $5,000
3rd Place $2,500
Winning videos will be screened at the 2012 DALLAS International Film Festival. Filmmakers and educators will also receive invitations to a private meet-and-greet with a celebrity filmmaker and to the awards ceremony, The Dallas Film Society Honors. Your green vision could put you on the red carpet!
