We present this take on James Ellroy’s 1990 novel as part of Chris Vognar’s Screening Room presented by Stella Artois.
Corrupt cops in Hollywood operate in a world filled with every vice imaginable. Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, Kim Basinger and Danny DeVito provide the star power in the film, which was nominated for 9 Academy Awards and won two (Basinger for Best Supporting Actress, and best screenplay).
After the screening, Dallas Morning News film critic Chris Vognar gives us his take on the film and answers your questions.
