The film from director Lasse Hallström (CHOCOLAT) and the Oscar-winning screenwriter Simon Beaufoy (SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE), is a comedy about one sheik’s dream to bring an unusual pastime to the desert.
The movie tells the tale of a fisheries expert who is approached by a consultant to help realize a sheik’s vision of bringing the sport of fly-fishing to the desert, and they embark on an upstream journey of faith and fish to prove the impossible possible.
The film stars Amr Waked, Emily Blunt, Kristin Scott Thomas and Ewan McGregor.
